Add notes and text on top of a page, and search for words in the file.
It is careful with files it cannot trust.
A broken or locked PDF gets a clear message. It does not freeze or guess. Your file goes to Drive only if you turn that on.

Open a PDF
Pick a file from your device.
Read and search
Pull out the text and search for the words you need.
Change the pages
Turn, reorder, delete, join, or split pages. Add notes on top.
Save it
If you connect Google, the file goes to your Drive as a PDF and stays a PDF.
Questions
Can I black out private details?
Not yet. True blacking out is not offered, so do not rely on a note placed over text to hide it.
Can it open a password protected PDF?
No. Password protected PDFs are turned away with a clear message.
Can I use it today?
Not yet. The app is built and in testing, and it has not been released.
