Who it is for
A shared space, with guardrails.
One space for the whole household. A parent adds and looks after child profiles, and those profiles have stricter rules.
What it is
People under 18 cannot make their own account. A parent adds a child profile instead, and the parent looks after it.
A child profile has stricter rules: no memory built from the screen, no usage tracking, no tailoring to the child, no connected accounts, no sharing outside the family, and no open chat. Other AI features are limited.
What stays off for a child
- No screen watching The app never builds a memory from what is on a child's screen.
- No tracking or tailoring A child profile is not used to learn about the child.
- No connected accounts A child profile cannot be linked to outside accounts.
- No open chat A child cannot start an open chat.
More about children
Read how we handle children on the child safety page. The wording there is still a draft.
Where it stands
Crosspoint Nexus is built and in testing. It has not been released, so none of this can be used today.
